Summary
Our client asked us to assist with microcracking works that they had been instructed to complete via an inspection from the NHBC.
Issue to be resolved
Microcracking works to the lounge, dining room, study, hall and landing to be addressed.
Action taken
Ceiling boards carefully removed in the various locations affected, noggins installed, ply board fixed to joists and plasterboard reinstated. Ceiling areas to be plastered, make good and decorated.
Result
The microcracking/squeaking floor noise that could be heard when customer walked on flooring was resolved with no noise present.
